Company Sandjam'R® creates performance surf products for kids of all ages. The company is headquartered in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and has representatives on both East and West Coasts. Sandjam'R® builds its products with respect for the riders and the oceans they ride in. Bill Clarke - Founder/Designer: Growing up around Corona Del Mar Bill spent many many many days surfing around Newport. Now living in the Bay area Bill surfs most often at Ocean Beach and Bolinas. In addition to creating designs and logos for Sandjam'R Bill is also a founder and active partner in San Francisco-based Eureka Partners a leader in brand development for youth-oriented companies. After many years of phenomenal surf under grey skies Dave returned with his English accent to the sunny skies and sweet waves of Laguna. Prior to joining Sandjam'R Dave worked as as VP Surf Division for Earth and Ocean (BZ, Liquid Force, Obrien) and VP Operations for 360 Inc., a division of Roller Derby (Body Glove, Wave Rebel, ION). Email: dave@sandjammer.com Mike Marks - Founder/Admin/BizDev: As a kid Mike spent most of his summer days body surfing at Santa Monica, Venice or Zuma. He began board surfing after getting married in Kauai 11 years ago and has been trying to make up for lost time ever since... first in So Cal and now on Cape Cod. If the Air/Water is above 20F/33F and the waves are better than knee high and clean then Mike is on them. Mike is also a cofounder of WorkTools, Inc., Endeavor Tool Company, Accentra Inc. and Invention City Inc. Email: mike@sandjammer.com Tad Ryan - Board Designer/Product Development: Tad spent his early years pounding the pavements of the world's greatest cities in the US and Europe. As soon as he got his driver's license he left for the beach. Nationally ranked windsurfer, committed surfer and kite surfer, Tad has been riding waves all over the world and building high performance wave and wind riding boards for most of his adult life. Email: tad@sandjammer.com Matt Rivers - Founder/Advisor: Born into a surfing family, Matt began skimboarding and bodyboarding as soon as he could walk, surfing followed shortly thereafter. After surfing on the pro tour for a couple of years Matt put down roots on his native Cape Cod and bought the Pump House Surf Company in Orleans, Massachusetts. Each year in mid January he closes his shop for a couple of months and surfs breaks in warmer climates. He's got the life. Email: matt@sandjammer.com Jim Snyder - Founder/Manufacturing: Jim grew up in Salamanca NY, 60 miles southwest of Buffalo. Weightlifting, swimming, rugby, snowboarding and sometimes cow-tipping are some of the things Jim did for entertainment when there was 5' of snow on the ground. Jim founded Snyder Manufacturing after a long stint at United Technologies. Email: jim@sandjammer.com John Snyder - Manufacturing/Warehouse/IT: John grew up with Jim in Salamanca. He's never been on a surfboard but we don't hold that against him since he promises to make amends soon (we also keep in mind that he's a big guy and could take on all of us single handed). He's a dedicated snowboarder, former rugby player and NCAA swimmer. Email: john@sandjammer.com Brad Golstein - Legal Affairs: Brad grew up in Tarzana and spent many summers at Zuma... but he didn't surf then and doesn't surf now. That's not a problem for us since he's our certified smart guy with an MBA/JD from UCLA... and he does go on 10 day tuna fishing expeditions off Baja... and that means fresh sushi if we're in town when his boat comes in. Email: brad@sandjammer.com Joel Marks - Product Development: Joel built his first boat at the age of 10. His second boat, built at age 12, is still in use more than 30 years later! Joel graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and went on to work as lead Inventor at WorkTools, Inc., the company he co-founded with Mike (his brother) and Brad. Joel holds over 100 patents. His most recent invention, the PaperPro Desktop Stapler is setting the world on fire with over 2,000,000 units sold in the first 18 months! Joel loves all things that float and working on new technologies to make them work better. Along with Mike and Brad Joel is also co-founder of Endeavor Tool Company, Accentra. and Invention City Inc.
